Flix Membership Signup Steps

At present the Students Union Sign-up system only supports Windows based computers using Internet Explorer. If you are using an Apple Mac, please try Camino rather than Safari.

  1. First you will need to go to: http://www.lufbra.net/society/flix The page should look like the following image:
  2. You will need to login to the lubra.net site, i.e. using you student number and password.
  3. To join any club, you will need to purchase Clubs & Socs Membership. This costs £2 and replaces the insurance that was charged by the Students' Union over the previous years.
  4. You will need to buy the Clubs and Socs Membership (cost of £2) by clicking on the add to cart button.
  5. The Clubs and Socs membership should now be added to the shopping cart displayed on the right-hand side.
  6. Click on the eshop link in the left hand side of the page to return to the main clubs and socs shop page.
  7. You will then be able to select the club to join, in this case click on Flix.
  8. On the next page you will be able to add Flix membership to you shopping cart (cost of only £8).

  9. Click on the add to cart button. The Flix membership will then be added to the shopping cart.

  10. You can also add other clubs to your shopping cart.
  11. Once you have added all the clubs that you want to join, click on the view cart button.

  12. On this page you can view all the clubs you are joining, and also get rid of ones you are not yet ready to join (to do this change the quantity to 0 and then click update cart button).

  13. Once you have the clubs that you want join, displayed in your shopping cart, click on the next button.

  14. On the next page you can check the clubs you are joining again (and to change delivery method, although Flix membership stickers are given out at the film showings), click the next button.

  15. The next page will allow you to enter your contact e-mail address (something like yourname-04@student.lboro.ac.uk), then click the next button.

  16. The next page will allow you to check your details again, then click the next button. This will then sent you to an external site (worldpay.com) to enter you payment (credit/ debit card) details. After which you should receive an e-mail confirmation of payment from RBS WorldPay.
  17. Please bring confirmation of payment along with you to any Flix film showing to receive your membership sticker and other membership details.
