Since our move to the Cope Auditorium, gone are the old days of plastic chairs. The new FLIX cinema brings plush cushioned tiered seating, 2.4kW of surround sound goodness, and a massive 30ft screen (the biggest in Loughborough).

If you have any comments on any aspect of Loughborough Students Cinema FLIX, please send them to chair@flix.org.uk. It is run by students for students, and your opinions are very important to us. FLIX shows films every Sunday and occasionally other days for special events. Membership is open to all Loughborough University and Loughborough College students.

We are the oldest society at Loughborough (63 years) and have been voted Society of the Year 2008-2009. All FLIX members are entitled to free professional projectionist training and the opportunity to run the society through the wide range of committee positions including treasurer, publicity, multimedia, webmaster or chair person. So whether you just want to watch films or get experience that looks good on your CV, Flix offers something for everyone.
